Front Desk Position

This position requires a happy & easy-going personality. You know how it goes: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Job Details: Use our Advanced Computerized Reservation System for the booking of reservations, Checking-In arriving customers, Checking-Out departing customers, answering emails, doing housekeeping management & petty cash organization. Run a Retail Store that requires sales to be recorded using the same Reservation Software. This is the bulk of the position. These duties once you've been trained will come as second nature & you will enjoy it! Prepare to be alone in the Store often, except on busy weekends. This job does require you to be able to collaborate with others in a workplace environment. Also, you will need to run occasional children's activities.


The hours for this position are 25-30hrs/week. Scheduling is done automatically based on an algorithm that will prioritize how YOU want to go about your day Workamping! Every attempt is made to make the schedule fair & enjoyable for everyone.


Example of what a workweek could look like:

MONDAY:

  • Open up our Store

  • Check Phone Messages

  • Check Emails

  • Take Complex Group Reservations

  • Take Simple Single Reservations

  • Edit some Reservations

  • Cancel some Reservations

  • Do some Point-of-Sale Checkouts

  • Complete Miscellaneous Task from our Front Desk Book

  • Close up our Store

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY:

  • Off

THURSDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

FRIDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

  • Call Bingo

SATURDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

  • Run a Children's Treasure Hunt

SUNDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

Maintenance/'Camp Host' Position

This position involves the general upkeep of the campsites, cleaning of restrooms/cabins when the main cleaning crew is unable to perform their regular duties, running activities, & lifting/moving heavy objects.

Job Details: Grass trimming, egg toss, the running of other certain children’s activities.

  • Open up our Infinity-Shaped Pool & Rec Hall

  • Pick-Up Garbage

  • Cut some Grass, Do some Painting, Focus on Landscaping

  • Clean Fire Rings

  • Complete Miscellaneous Task from our Maintenance Book

  • Close up our Infinity-Shaped Pool & Rec Hall

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY:

  • Off

THURSDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

FRIDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

  • Move Picnic Tables & Fire Rings where needed

  • Call Bingo

SATURDAY:

  • Repeat Monday’s Tasks

  • Run an Egg Toss

  • Run a Cornhole Tournament

SUNDAY:

  • Clean up Garbage left by Guests
